B360 Board

Sabina Ann Balmer-Fischer (President and Founder)
is the founder of B360 education partnerships which offers companies and privat persons the opportunity to participate in an education and ‘Cross Border Volunteering’ project. Prior to founding B360 and Balmer Management Support and taking on board member engagements, Sabina Balmer worked for Credit Suisse for thirteen years in different functions in New York, Zürich and Zug. During the last three years at Credit Suisse she was the Chief Operating Officer of Credit Suisse Asset Management in Switzerland. Before joining Credit Suisse, she managed an infrastructure project for the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (DEZA) in Ouahigouya, Burkina Faso. In 1992 and 1993, Sabina Balmer worked as a WorldTeach Volunteer Teacher in Arandis, Namibia. She holds a Master of Arts from the University of Zurich and a Master of Advanced Studies from the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich.


Marianne Egli
did a commercial diploma in Switzerland and professional training in Marketing and Communication. She studied and worked in England and the USA and was consultant in different advertising agencies in Zürich. In 1993 she founded Union 3 communications with national and international mandates in all areas of communications. Her focus areas are in public relations and event marketing. She was a guest lecturer at the IAM (Institute for applied media science) of the Zurich University of Applied Science (ZHAW) for several years. Since 2012 she has been a Senior Advisor and has several engagements in non-profit organizations and charitable projects. Core competencies: implementation of pioneer projects, conceptual and holistic thinking, establishment and management of networks, coaching.


Dr Rudolf Schmitt
is since 1990 a Professor of Food Microbiology and Food Safety at the University of Applied Science in Sion (Valais). He studied Food Chemistry and got his PhD in Food Microbiology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. He gained several years of experience on assignments in Africa and Asia for WHO. Rudolf Schmitt has been instrumental in building the postgraduate Master’s degree program for Food Safety Management in Switzerland. He is a president of the Swiss Section of the European Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG) which was founded at his initiative in the year 2008. In 2010 he went as the first B360 Food Safety expert to the Polytechnic of Namibia and has done two further assignments for B360 in Namibia since then. He was a member of the Advisory Board of B360 until becoming a board member in October 2013.




Dr Peter H. Schmuki (Vicepresident)
worked for Credit Suisse for twenty-five years until 2008. Most recently as Executive Vice Chairman and Head of Credit Suisse Asset Management Switzerland. Prior to that, Peter Schmuki held a number of senior positions in Fixed-Income Capital Markets in Credit Suisse's Investment Banking Division in New York, Zurich and London. Before joining Credit Suisse, he was an attorney in private practice. Peter Schmuki received his Ph.D. in law from Zurich University School of Law and his Masters in Comparative Jurisprudence from the New York University School of Law. He is a member of the Zurich and New York Bars.


Albert Zwicker
has done several expert assignments for B360 in Namibia and Zambia since 2012. Until 2008 he worked as company director in Switzerland and abroad and has held various directorships. Previously, he led the business development of the canton of St. Gallen. Most of his professional life, namely 1974 - 1999, he worked at Credit Suisse in Zurich, Lausanne, New York and London. His bank activities included senior positions in various sectors, most recently as Director in the Corporate and Investment Banking. His interests range from music, languages and literature to sports, especially sailing, skiing and golf.
