Sabina Ann Balmer-Fischer (president and founder)

is the founder of B360 education partnerships which offers companies and private persons the opportunity to participate in an education and ‘Cross Border Volunteering’ project. Prior to founding B360 and Balmer Management Support and taking on board member engagements, Sabina Balmer worked for Credit Suisse for thirteen years in different functions in New York, Zurich and Zug. During the last three years at Credit Suisse she was the Chief Operating Officer of Credit Suisse Asset Management in Switzerland. Before joining Credit Suisse, she managed an infrastructure project for the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (DEZA) in Ouahigouya, Burkina Faso. In 1992 and 1993, Sabina Balmer worked as a WorldTeach Volunteer Teacher in Arandis, Namibia. She holds a Master of Arts from the University of Zurich and a Master of Advanced Studies from the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich.

Rita Becker

has a long working experience in HR, Finance and Customer Service. As member of different group executive teams for more than 10 years, she shared the responsibility for the strategic development of the respective companies. She worked as global Head of HR at VP Bank AG, a private bank in Liechtenstein, and also for Swisscard AECS GmbH, a joint venture of American Express and Credit Suisse in the credit card business. At Balzers AG (Oerlikon Group) she gained broad experience in the high-tech industry and cooperating effectively with different cultures around the globe. At Balzers AG she was the global CFO, enjoyed serving Balzers customers and established the global HR function.

Markus Hübscher

was the Managing Director of the SBB Pension Fund - one of the largest pension funds in Switzerland - until November 2020. In his 11 years at SBB Pension Fund, he restructured the fund, stabilized it financially and realigned its investment strategy. In addition, the technical interest rate and conversion rate were adjusted to economic realities. Before that, he was country head at Barclays Global Investors (BGI, today BlackRock) for 3 years. He started his career at Credit Suisse, where he worked for 20 years. Most recently, he was head of global quantitative portfolio management at Credit Suisse Asset Management. In this role, he was responsible for the management of client assets of numerous, well-known institutional investors in Switzerland and abroad.

Dr Rudolf Schmitt

was a Professor in Food Microbiology and Food Safety at the University of Applied Sciences in Sion (Valais) from 1990 until his retirement in 2015. He studied Food Chemistry and obtained his PhD in Food Microbiology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich. For several years, he provided his experience to the WHO for food safety missions in Africa and Asia. Rudolf Schmitt was instrumental in establishing a Master of Advanced Studies program in Food Safety Management, which he led in collaboration with the University of Basel until 2019. He also significantly contributed to the establishment of the Swiss Section of the European Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG), which he chaired until 2008. In 2010 he went as the first B360 Food Safety expert to the Polytechnic of Namibia and has done two further assignments for B360 in Namibia since then. He was a member of the Advisory Board of B360 until becoming a board member in October 2013.

Dr Peter H Schmuki (vice president)

worked for Credit Suisse for twenty-five years until 2008. Most recently as Executive Vice Chairman and Head of Credit Suisse Asset Management Switzerland. Prior to that, Peter Schmuki held a number of senior positions in Fixed-Income Capital Markets in Credit Suisse's Investment Banking Division in New York, Zurich and London. Before joining Credit Suisse, he was an attorney in private practice. Peter Schmuki received his Ph.D. in law from Zurich University School of Law and his Masters in Comparative Jurisprudence from the New York University School of Law. He is a member of the Zurich and New York Bars.
