This year was my first assignment at TSiBA and my first visit to Cape Town. I had been asked to run the leadership module of the Postgraduate Diploma in Small Enterprise Consulting.

As a specialist in theory U (leading from the future) and an experienced leadership expert I was able to bring my many years of work and consulting experience to the class room. I set up many interactive sessions with multiple learning and valuable experiences for participants. These were very well received. Especially the practical application with a real topic/challenge on the last day which included the presence of several stakeholders was a unique experience for all.

Reidwaan Jawoodeen, the TSiBA responsible for the postgraduate diploma program, is himself an enthusiastic user of the theory U and the exchange with him was very valuable. I took part in very interesting and engaged discussions around leading self and leading others and experienced the difference as well as the common points of the different cultures and background of participants. In the discussions we all agreed that to know yourself is key to find the best and most effective way to interact with others effectively.
