With online sessions, e-learning and digital mentoring, it is possible to continue our work in a goal-oriented way, regardless of regulations and/or restrictions for intercontinental travel
We are constantly expanding our online program, depending on the needs at our partner schools in Southern Africa. Our virtual offerings range from one-off lectures by guest lecturers, personal coaching and training sessions, online courses lasting several weeks to transformation support for partner universities.
B360 Virtual Career Starter Course
The most frequently held and well-established virtual course is the “Virtual Career Starter Course“. An interactive course in which students in Southern Africa are prepared for the labor market in their country. This course lasts 7 weeks and is typically conducted jointly by two B360 experts. The courses involve small groups of 4-6 participants. In addition, inputs from Southern African professionals are integrated into the curriculum to assure local relevance. The course structure and material is provided by B360.
B360 Interview Training Course
The "Interview Training Course" prepares participants for the job search and job interviews. This interactive course lasts 3 weeks and is conducted by one or two B360 experts. The group size is 4-6 participants. Individual sessions and individual coaching are offered to participants during and after the course. The course structure and material is provided by B360.
B360 Job Search Support - Mentoring Program
The Job Search Support Mentoring Program aims at guiding and supporting the high performing participants of the Career Starter Course after the completion of the course as well as our Alumni’s from our physical and virtual internships regarding their individual job search.
Further Virtual Courses
Depending on the needs of our partner university, workshops on different topics, contributions in semester courses as well as training sessions for lecturers can be arranged.
Volunteer Profile
Experts in this program should either have a university or applied-sciences university degree, a professional education and suitable advanced training. Long-standing practical experience in management positions and/or experience as a lecturer and excellent command of English are key qualifications. An affinity for technological tools such as “Zoom”, “WhatsApp”, “Google Drive” etc. is important.

Material and Documents
B360 provides the teaching material for both the Career Starter and Interview Training Courses. Material for other lectures and workshops are developed and provided by the B360 experts themselves.
Participant Profile
The majority of participants are senior students either in the third or fourth Bachelor year. Some courses however are open to graduates from different universities and to local professionals.
Timeframe
Specific requirements of experts and participants are taken into consideration for the planning of the courses. The Virtual Career Course lasts 7 weeks; the Interview Training Course 3 weeks.
Costs
Expert assignments are on a volunteer basis; no compensation is paid.
