Firstly, I would like to thank the B360 team for this wonderful programme. It has been a great and wonderful journey for me during my internship. I would also like to thank the Swiss Quality Testing Services (SQTS) for having me as well as my host family for accommodating me.

These 3 months have been an eye opener to me in so many ways. From the very first day of work, my work colleagues have been caring and willing to explain to me things I did not understand. I worked in the Microbiology, Chemistry and Molecular biology departments of the laboratory.

In the Microbiology department, my knowledge and skills in bacterial identification improved. In the Chemistry department, I obtained skills on how to operate with the chemical analyzers and troubleshooting. In Molecular biology, I gained more experience in DNA extraction with different methods and improved my pipetting skills in very small quantities. I also had the opportunity to visit two other laboratories, UNILABS (a medical laboratory) and a research laboratory at ETH university in Zurich. It was amazing.

Switzerland is a beautiful country and I am grateful to my work colleagues, my host family and B360 experts for taking me to see the beauty this country has to offer. My stay here was fun and enjoyable, I love the way the whole place is green, and I thank God for letting me see another part of his wonderful creation. I also had the opportunity to visit other countries; these are Italy, German and France. That was amazing as well.
