Update February 2024
Welcome to Switzerland
7 students from Namibia and Zambia arrived in Switzerland on February 1st for their three-month internship at bob Finance, Büchi Labortechnik, Ferrum and Julius Baer Bank. They have had a good start and are getting used to the workplace, the cold temperatures, the punctual SBB system and the new culinary specialties.
On February 10th, the interns visited the B360 team in Zug. A day filled with a workshop, exchanges, a joint lunch, a visit to the old town and the highlight - a carnival parade. We are looking forward to seeing what experiences and adventures the seven will have during their time in Switzerland.
Going South…
9 B360 experts are traveling to Southern Africa in February and March to share their specialist knowledge and professional experience with young people at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) and at Bank Windhoek. There is great demand for Career Starter Weeks (CSW). Together with Bank Windhoek, we are trying to prepare as many graduates as possible for the working world and equip them with helpful tools for their future careers.
On March 12 the B360 networking event will take place for the fourth time at the NUST Hotel School in Windhoek where alumni, lecturers, local professionals and B360 experts are invited to exchange ideas, establish, and build relationships. It's nice to see how B360's concept is appreciated.
2024 promises to be an interesting year - we'll keep you updated.
