At work

I was an intern at B360 Education Partnership. It has been a great learning experience for me. The organization created a lot of room for learning and growth both in my personal and professional life. I learned how to manage processes and the importance of punctuality. The internship equipped me with valuable soft and professional skills. I was part of an incredible team that supported me beyond my expectations.

My line manager was Mrs. Sabina Balmer and it was great being under her umbrella of professionalism. The B360 team motivated me and pushed me to grow beyond my personal limitations. I would not have been able to successfully carry out my duties with diligence and precision had it not been for my manager. Her guidance and support from the onset had helped me to feel at ease. We had regular calls and check-ins and that helped me to stay on track.

Cultural Exchange

The Beutler/Haeberli family was my host family. They were very open and loving towards me. We had regular chats on WhatsApp and would have zoom calls as well. I learnt a lot about Switzerland and I’d like to believe that they also learnt about Namibia. I felt part of the family because of their warm and loving nature.

Highlights and Lowlights

The only lowlight I experienced was the connectivity issues. It was a real challenge but I managed to navigate through it with the help of the IT Specialist. Whatever challenge I faced, I communicated with the team because we had an open communication channel.

The highlight of this internship was being part of such an organized and motivated team.

Future Plans

I want to pursue an Honors degree in Communication Management after the completion of my Bachelor’s degree. Becoming relevant on the political front is also a goal for me. I believe I will excel in all I want to do because of the skills and knowledge I acquired during this internship.
